At the beginning of the year everyone here in the hotel was delighted, thrilled to find out our favorite manager, Fran was pregnant.We’ve all watched her, plus her appetite grow significantly over the months, but this Friday is her last day at The Cove Cornwall. Sad for us and sad for our guests….but great for her and her partner Tom as they start a whole new chapter!

Fran’s been at The Cove Cornwall right from the get go. Her personality and input is stamped all over it. From branding to decor, written and photographic content, to customer care; from reception to housekeeping, right on down to the kitchens. There was nothing this girl didn’t pitch in on. She always went the extra mile, always made herself available even outside her hours; did her job well and with love.

So, everyone working in the hotel is invited to come together this Sunday, from 3pm on, to celebrate as friends, in an Afternoon Tea – of mainly sweet delights. I hasten to add, everything will be highly calorific but all that’s equally excusable and justifiable if your pregnant or partying. This should have been a secret, surprise do, but it’s next to near impossible to keep anything from Fran, so in the end we just gave up and caved into blatant publicity!

And all that’s left for me to say is, don’t you dare try and do any work on Sunday you’ll be watched, but most importantly, we all love you, wish you both and the wee one when she arrives, all the luck in the world, keep in touch and will miss you more than you can begin to imagine!
