Easter is always special and I’ve spent countless here in Lamorna, but for me this has been one of the best! Perfect weather from the start, a full hotel with fabulous guests, local residents out and about, both villagers and visitors coming together as a community for great events and celebrations in blissful, balmy sunshine!

We’ve had Nature Walks, through fields of bluebells, along coastal paths overlooking silver seas, beach days filled with sandcastle building, pier jumping, rock pooling, Cycle Tours to Sancreed, across the miles of Westerly Cornwall edged by hedgerows filled with Blackthorn blossom, Pool Parties that ran and ran, chocolate crepes and cream teas, costume making, egg blowing and painting, The Lamorna Duck Race, with stalls serving home made cake and cool drinks, and the best ever Easter Egg Hunt through the valley, out to the seashore and back. So many friends made and with them memories.

And each evening as I sat back to reflect, a moon so big, so bright, so clear, lit up this, my Cornish heaven. Thank you to all and everyone.
