Cornwall, especially its far western peninsula is renowned worldwide for its beautiful, dramatic and varied coastal footpaths. Lamorna is home to two of the most well known – from the cove, bearing easterly to the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole, and bearing westerly to the secluded shores of St Loy.

Both these walkways are just a stone’s throw away from The Cove Cornwall and a real pleasure to experience, whatever the season, whatever the weather. Every light, at every time of day produces a unique effect on the landscape which is quite breathtaking . Find time and explore these hidden gems for yourself!

And don’t forget to visit the inland through-ways, again setting off from the cove going easterly to Kemyel then circling back across the Lamorna downs to the village itself or westerly wandering to the famous Celtic site, The Merry Maidens, and circling back to the hotel.
