Because of it’s mild and temperate climate Cornwall, especially the most westerly peninsula has created its very own ecosystem which supports a huge amount of exotic and mediterrain plants. This has made the location a sought after area for gardeners to life and gardens to be opened to the general public.
Here is a link to the NGS (The National Garden Society). Their well known Yellow Book is mirrored online and lists gardens open in the area you select. But if your still hesitant, why not start right on your doorstep – in the hotel grounds, followed by a walk around Chygurno, the adjacent garden and Trewoofe Orchard.
