Lamorna Cove, just a minutes walk away from the hotel, offers three hardly known spots, that consistently yield an array of fish that change with the seasons. From colourful Wrasse to Mackerel, Bass to Rock-ling and Pollack.

For beginners, the pier itself is ideal and for the more advanced, rocks just of the coastal path between Carn Du and St Loy. If you’re after even bigger fish like Conga Eels and Sharks then hotel reception can book you on a local angler boat. However management accepts no responsibilty for guests getting eaten at sea – Hee Hee!!

If you didn’t pack your equipment, don’t panic. The Cove Cornwall has kit and bait on site along with someone to instruct you on assembling and using the rods and reels. We also have access to local knowledge from expert anglers to help get you started.
